If you’re Manitoban – especially Franco-Manitoban! – thinking of Festival du Voyageur, Western Canada’s largest winter festival, instantly evokes nostalgic memories of snow sculptures, maple taffy on a stick, lively music, sashes and Caribou.
After two years of waiting, our favourite festival is back in full force at Voyageur Park from February 17 to 26, 2023. For its 54th edition, Festival du Voyageur returns bigger than ever with larger tents offering a maximized capacity, more artists, more diversity and many changes to allow the best experience to its festivalgoers.

Long-time Partner
Happy Festival!
Caisse Financial Group is proud to be a long-time partner of the Festival du Voyageur. Over the years, Caisse has become the official sponsor of the famous Sugar Shack, filled with traditional music, sweet and savoury foods and happy families dancing to the sound of fiddles and wooden spoons.
Happy Festival!
Festival du Voyageur is a part of Manitoba’s heritage. Given our roots, Caisse is proud to be involved in the festival in various ways to support an event that promotes the values and cultures of our members.
We think it’s important to support this inclusive event particularly because it showcases Indigenous and Métis cultures.
– Sylvie Laurencelle, Vice-President, Marketing and Communications at Caisse Financial Group
Each year, Caisse offers a variety of interactive activities and prizes to festivalgoers who visit the Sugar Shack. This year, come and say hi to the ambassadors at the Caisse Financial Group kiosk and participate in our various games and contests for the whole family. Don’t worry; our favourite blue balloons for the little ones (and even the big ones!) will be back.
We look forward to seeing you and experiencing Festival and the Sugar Shack with you.

Our Employees, Our Ambassadors
This was a record year for employee participation as Caisse ambassadors at Festival du Voyageur!
Our employees are usually very involved when we are seeking volunteers or ambassadors for different projects and events. However, the response we received this year was incredible and exceeded our expectations. We knew our employees missed our in-person presence, but this enthusiasm confirmed that they were eager to get involved at the Caisse booth.
– Anamée Turbide, Community Engagement and Content Creator Specialist at Caisse Financial Group
Happy Festival!
For many employees, this will be their first experience as an ambassador, but also as a Festival participant. One of this year’s ambassadors, Sineshaw Asrat, says he was encouraged to participate because the Festival du Voyageur is the largest festival in Western Canada that promotes francophone language and culture.
Happy Festival!
I’ve heard many good things about Festival du Voyageur, including the cheerful atmosphere. I was planning on participating as a visitor this year, so being an ambassador seemed like a perfect opportunity for me. I am looking forward to chatting and playing games with our members and other festivalgoers at Voyageur Park.
– Sineshaw Asrat, Member Service Representative from the Provencher Branch
