The program ‘Au courant de l’argent’ (In the Know about Money), developed by Caisse Financial Group and offered in French to Grades 9 to 12 in the francophone and immersion schools across Manitoba, teaches students about saving money, budgeting, interest, investments, loans and credit cards, credit rating, managing money, financial fraud and more.
The objective of the program is to ensure that students learn how to make sound financial decisions at a young age and into their adult life.
Since 2013, Caisse Financial Group has partnered with the Economic Development Council of Bilingual Municipalities (CDEM) and Junior Achievement Manitoba to make financial literacy resources available in French for francophone and immersion schools.
The financial literacy program ‘Au courant de l’argent’ is presented at no charge by employees of Caisse Financial Group and CDEM that are trained in the area of finances and entrepreneurship.
If you are interested in scheduling a presentation at your school or would like further information, please visit www.affairesaplus.com/litteratie-financiere.
This program is offered in French only. If you are interested in a similar program in English, please contact Junior Achievement Manitoba.
